Trademe Shenanigans

If anyone’s interested, the full version of the silly Sky Satellite auction that I ran on Trademe is now available, including hundreds of questions that I never got around to answering. Auctions re-appear 60 days after being withdrawn, I guess for search-engine trawling or something. At the time it had a record number of hits with 230,000. This has since been thoroughly blown out of the water by the crazy Tana Umaga handbag auction (read the details here), which managed to completely wind the page-views tracker to 1.07 million hits (the counter only reads 70,000 because it can only show 6 digits). On a site that serves a country with 4.5 million people.
