According to Kevin Rose, Apple will announce a new iPod Nano on the 7th, sporting 2GB of flash memory and a colour screen, and fit between the Mini and Shuffle in size.
No definites on upgrades for the Mini, but rumours are bouncing around about a colour screen (probably) and either a bump to 8GB or perhaps a switch to 4GB of flash (instead of a micro HDD), with the accompanying reduction in size and benefits to battery life.
Plus of course the ever-coming iPod/Moto phone thing. My bet on that is that it’s going to be one hell of an anti-climax. I mean come on: 256 and 512 meg versions? Don’t most phones come with that much storage these days?
