It’s been far too long since I pulled out the transmitter and flew any model aeroplanes. The main reasons being wind (bad for electric powered planes), and lack of time to get to the slope to fly my gliders. This tiny plane from Plantraco would solve both problems, albeit at a fairly steep US$230.
The Plantraco Butterfly is a palm-sized radio control flyer, designed to fly in a livingroom sized space. It’s pretty amazing, and I honestly can’t see how they’ve managed to miniaturise the receiver and servos to the point that they are basically invisible. There’s even video of it in action.
