If the internet-connected world were able to vote, would BetaVote represent the result? Or is it just that l33t haX0rs (those able to code up a quick form-post bomber) prefer Kerry to Bush?
Still, it’s an interesting exercise indeed. Interesting that of all the countries with a significant number of votes, USA is the closest result with Bush currently on 33% and Kerry on 66%; also Israel with 200-ish votes is close to 50/50. Possibly if one were going to try to make it more robust, a confirm-via-email version would be a good way to slightly cut down on multiple votes and form-submission spamming.
