Brighthand have added to several reviews on the new Dell GPS system. The Dell system is reasonably unique in that it includes all the bits and pieces required to do full in-car navigation – a GPS receiver, car mount, and mapping/routing software. Not too bad for US$249.
After playing with my Nokia 6600/Holux GPS receiver setup, I have to say that I can feel for the reviewer when he says:
I warn you though, this thing can be addictive. I now use it when I go everywhere. My wife was giving me a hard time about using it when I was going to the grocery store, a drive I’ve made so many times I could do it in my sleep. There’s just something about seeing that little icon move around on the map that’s fascinating.
