Well, running on the back of yesterday’s rant about ubiquitous networks, I’ve stumbled across something that might just be the beginnings of a munchkin. The Motorola CN620. Behind that mild-mannered moniker lies a freaking cool device.


Why? Because if it works as advertised, you should be able to use your CN620 as a SIP (Wi-Fi) handset at the office or local hotspot, then while you’re still talking wander out of the range of the Wi-Fi and continue talking as your phone seamlessly transfers you to the regular cellular network.

  1. Noo Ben nooo! Motorola devices have almost universally shitty user interfaces. They might have good tech underneath but their devices are horrible to use imho.
